When I cleaned up with my Ex

When I cleaned up with my Ex

by Centred Meditation | May 28, 2018 | Centred Thought of the Week, Reflections

Lately I’ve been looking back at situations in my life where I’ve left things unfinished. Scanning through my past, I recall how my previous relationship before Kevin ended. Just a few days after we broke up I went on a date with Kevin and didn’t...
Our lesson from Meghan and Harry

Our lesson from Meghan and Harry

by Centred Meditation | May 22, 2018 | Centred Thought of the Week, Reflections

While Kevin opted to watch the rugby on Saturday night, I (Nikki) headed over to a friend to watch the royal wedding (along with one billion others apparently). To be honest, it felt kind of strange being a spectator at such an intimate moment for two people that I...

“I look like a boy”

by Centred Meditation | May 14, 2018 | Centred Thought of the Week, Reflections

I’m eight years old sitting at the hairdresser after school. It’s fun to be fussed about and I’m enjoying the pampering. The hairdresser decides to cut my hair to just below my ears to make it nice and healthy. I return home, head to the bathroom,...

The time I orchestrated a SURPRISE wedding

by Centred Meditation | May 7, 2018 | Centred Thought of the Week, Reflections

What a week! We have just finished four days worth of celebrations as part of the SURPRISE wedding that I (Nikki) instigated the organisation of three months ago. Like most people I mentioned this to along the way, you are probably thinking ‘what on earth is a...

The power of a digital detox

by Centred Meditation | Apr 30, 2018 | Centred Thought of the Week, Reflections, Stress

We just got back from 8 days sailing in the Whitsundays and all we can say is WOW! It was truly a dream come true (check out our video above). What made it even better was having a mandatory digital detox for most of it, since there wasn’t any reception. It...

Replace Your Screen Savers with Sun Rises

by Centred Meditation | Apr 21, 2018 | Centred Thought of the Week, Reflections

In this short clip: ‘Are you working to live or living to work?’, our favourite spoken-word poet, Prince Ea, encourages us to: “Take short trips with no distractions; Spend time in meditation instead of aggravation. Replace our screen savers with sun rises, and our...

What our guests say…

  • Thanks to the Sydney lockdown, I’m participating in a centred meditation retreat ‘at home’. This is almost the end of day 1 and I’m loving it! The comms have been great, the master classes incredibly informative and the meditation sessions were restorative and grounding. But above all of those positives, even through Zoom, I can feel the care and loving vibe from my fellow participants, we are connected, albeit virtually… magical 🙏✨

  • I'm really enjoying the Clarity Meditation sessions offered by Centred Meditation. I sign up to take part in the middle of the day to find my centre again and regroup in between online meetings and puppy walks. It's been an incredible support for me during the Sydney lockdown this time around. Thanks Nikki & Kevin :) x

  • A real gem in the CBD providing a much needed getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. I am a yoga and meditation teacher myself and can tell you a place like Centred Meditation is absolutely essential and vital for all. The space is warm, cozy and complete with relaxing chairs and blankets. You will be in good hands in this environment. Thank you guys for such a beautiful practice
