Research has shown that meditation increases your ability to cope with demands and pressure, aka stress:

  1. It improves your ability to regulate your emotions;
  2. It improves your ability to introspect;
  3. It decreases anxiety;
  4. It decreases depression;
  5. It increases volume in areas of the brain related to emotion regulation, positive emotions & self-control.
